    We can see that the hard disks are very sensitive devices. And the noise (the screeaming) is creating quite an impact on this.

    I remember our performance lead engineer (@ IBM) stressing us on the importance (and side effects) of poorly designed disk drawers with respect to vibration. These are the details that might cause an equipment cost more than another with apparently no functional differences….
