For those wanting to P2V some Linux boxes or Windows 2008 hosts you can now get access to the beta of VMware Converter 4. Make sure to provide feedback to the beta team so they know what to fix or what other features you’re looking for.
I try and write something new 1-2 times per week. I'll update more when I'm in the office and possibly less when I'm out and traveling. If there's something you'd really like me to hear my thoughts on then just email me.

I am getting a page not found when I go to download. Please let me know when it’s back up. My office mate tried it and he is getting the same thing.

I’m also getting a “Page not found” error from the link.

I’ve pinged our web team about this. I’ve tried on 4 different networks now and all of them work just fine. I click on the link in the invite and it sends me to the store login page. I sign in with my store account and then get passed on over to a page where I can download. I’ll see what the web team comes back with.

Update. Looks like this is a known issue and VMware is working on it. You can get status and suggested workarounds here: http://communities.vmware.com/message/1104742?tstart=0#1104742.
